1. New Friends & Old...

Winter came back to Wyoming!  Old and new friends came to Casper Glass, too!  The Wine Gear Store in Pueblo, Colorado (a great "old" friend!!) has some treasures and is featuring some Casper Glass items on the retail website, www.winegearco.com.  In Buffalo, Wyoming, The Prescription Shop has a few new items, and the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum will have some Wyoming items (wine-ing and otherwise) as soon as the weather clears up enough to get to the shipper!  Here in Casper, another forever friend, The Liquor Shed, has a full product display unit now and more product than they've ever carried!  Thanks, Carlsons!  Rivaling their inventory, newer friend The Cadillac Cowgirl has I think the largest selection of Casper Glass jewelry anywhere, AND some Wine-ing things! Thanks to all & happy "Sprinter!"  ("Sprinter" is a term from Wyoming Lifestyles Magazine used to describe that unique season we have here that is sometimes Spring, and sometimes Winter!)

We're grateful to Wyoming Lifestyles and glad they promote the things that make Wyoming great!

3. Home & Garden Show!

It's schizophrenic* time!  I love Casper's Central Wyoming Homebuilder's Association Home & Garden Show.  I get to display and sell Casper Glass products AND Melanie Myron's mixed media art pieces!  (See www.melaniemyron.com for more info on that...)

On the Casper Glass side, we have LOTS of new wine accessories (all on this new website) and LOTS of new jewelry products, including earrings and pendants featuring the Wyoming Bucking Horse & Rider(tm) in a variety of colors.  Judy's been playing with Silly Stars and we have some incredibly fun & funky ones!  How about rescued window glass 4-leave-clover earrings for St. Patrick's Day?

On the mixed media side, I have a wonderful piece that's taller than I am - you'll just have to come see it.  Tell me you came because you read this and I'll give you 10% off of it's purchase price, or a free set of earrings - your choice!  See you this weekend at the Casper Events Center! -m

* I guess today it's called "dissociative identity disorder."  It just doesn't flow the same way...

4. Thanks to everyone at the Denver Gift Show!

What a great group of people!  Yes, someone helped themselves to my cargo trailer toward the end of the show, but there were some incredibly positive "coincidences" (like my lending display units to another exhibitor) that really came out for the best.  Thanks to everyone who pulled together to get me gathered up and home.  And yes, I will mourn the loss of the packing peanuts gathered and rescued for me by the Vikki Weeks group.  I wonder what the thieves thought to discover all those bags of green "ghost poop!"  Anyway, thanks again! - Melanie

I am more excited about this year's show than I've ever been!  We have so many new product styles, new packaging that will really catch your customer's eye and remind them they're recycling by purchasing from you.  And the point-of-sale displays...  We're definitely on a roll.  Please stop by and wine with us!

Time to start building the website!  Perhaps the finished product will be a Valentine's Day present to myself...
